About Corten

Corten is a highly modern material, and under the right conditions, it requires very little maintenance. Unlike regular steel, Corten is alloyed to create an outer layer of rust that stabilizes and protects against further corrosion. This works best when Corten products are given proper ventilation so the material can always dry out on its own, and if proper drainage is considered.

Durable and stylish Corten products

The characteristic Corten hue has become a common sight in recent times, and at NORDMET, you'll find plenty of Corten in various forms - in fact, we have the widest range of rust-resistant plate in Northern Europe. This plate is alloyed with other metals to obtain its new properties. Here you'll find, among other things:

  • Sheet metal, which we can offer in many different sizes and thicknesses ranging from 0.60 to 50 mm.
  • Several different screws and bolts with Corten heads that look perfect with the plate.
  • Tubes with both round, square, and rectangular profiles.
